While in Anguilla, you may wish to write a letter to a loved one or send important business documents with high priority. Anguilla has a post office and several international courier services through which to send mail and packages.
Anguilla's post office is located in its capital, The Valley, which is situated in the center of the island. The Valley is not far from any location on the island, but some hotels provide mail drop-off spots. Post office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Airmail to the United States and Canada generally takes about one or two weeks to reach its destination. Airmail to destinations in the United Kingdom and Europe may take three weeks. Letter and postcards to North America and Europe will cost around EC$1.50. Stamp booklets of varying combination can be bought from the post office for as little as EC$5.00.
The island also has several international courier services for sending packages and express mail, including FedEx, UPS, and DHL. FedEx is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., and Saturday, from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. DHL is open from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m, Monday through Friday.
